Heritage has been conducting real polls that don't try to skew the issues. The results are interesting but not unexpected. s3.amazonaws.com/hafa/Heritage

TRUTH SCARES THE INFANTILIZED - by that I mean objective truths, discerned by logic and critical thinking. Examples:

Proven facts vs lies.
Good vs evil.
Etc.

Also, observed realities, binaries that drive human existence. For example, the biological difference between male and female sexes.

Postmodern 'philosophy' , aka marxist propaganda, removes truth from existence.

Everything devolves back to emotion and subjectivity.

Everyone devolves back to childhood.

Children are easily controlled.

I am not unserious about this idea, which is essentially #Zulip (zulipchat.com). Message boards work so well for a reason.

Just watched #TheGreatHack on #Netflix. What I appreciated about this #documentary on #Facebook and the whole #CambridgeAnalytica scandal, is that it's one of the few #privacy #documentaries to get that protecting personal data isn't just about not seeing personalized ads for stuff you're more likely to want. It's about protecting ourselves from mass psychological manipulation and behavior modification techniques. These are techniques that actually work *best* when people believe they don't.

@Cdubois The photos reminded me of a story told by a U.S. soldier who took part in liberating people in a German concentration camp.
He said he walked up to these frail, starving people -and he said it may have been the first time they ever saw a black man. But that mattered not, their only question was, 'are you American?' That soldiers story made such an impact on me.

Scott Adams has been thrashing people with the text of the full quote for the past few months whenever they try using the hoax against Trump.
He wrote a post on it here and has continued to defend Trump's words since. Biden's (ab)use of it really got him mad.

Invite a company for a quick phone call to see if you can work together. If they give you the "we have a fixed hiring procedure"-shtick, they are not worth pursuing. They'll treat you like a commodity.

That's my usual advice for senior developers.

The House passed a bipartisan bill designed to stop robocalls today.

The measure, called the Stopping Bad Robocalls Act, passed by a vote of 429 to 3.

"This comprehensive bill requires every call to be verified, allows the blocking of spam calls, and empowers @FCC to protect Americans from scammers," tweeted Rep. Frank Pallone, a Democrat from New Jersey and chairman of the Energy and Commerce Committee.

I think it's about time.
